Fund Excluded Workers - Make The Road NYC
On March 5th, 2021, essential and excluded workers shut down the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges in New York City. Despite paying taxes and working in the frontline, they have been excluded from any economic assistance. They are pushing for a full $3.1 billion fund. If passed, it would be the first of its kind in the country and a historic victory for working families and more than 100 progressive organizations in New York.
